Town Hall stakeholder engagement sessions to discuss Canada Grain Act review consultations

Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada will be hosting virtual Town Hall engagement sessions as part of consultations on the Canada Grain Act (CGA) review. These sessions will allow grain farmers and other sector stakeholders to share their views with officials as part of the CGA review process.
The Honourable Marie-Claude Bibeau, Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food, will provide brief introductory remarks on the Government of Canada’s commitment to review the CGA with the goal of modernizing the Act to ensure Canada remains competitive in the global marketplace.
In preparation of these sessions, participants are encouraged to find out more about the CGA review process. Information on the CGA and its associated regulations that provide the framework for Canada’s grain quality assurance system can be found here: Canada Grain Act review
