Minnesota exported $666 million to Canada, including:
- $130M in beverages, spirits and vinegar
- $101M in corn
- $95M in prepared cereal products
- $48M in prepared meat
- $27M in animal feed
Minnesota imported $551 million from Canada, including:
- $112M in live animals
- Including $77M in cattle and $25M in swine
- $93M in oil seeds
- $68M in oats
- $32M in fresh, chilled or frozen meat
- $32M in prepared cereal products
Minnesota’s top agriculture and agri-food export markets:
- Canada: 28%
- Mexico: 20%
- Japan: 10%
- South Korea: 7%
- China: 4%
