Canadian Agricultural Strategic Priorities Program - Step 3. How to apply
Step 3. How to apply
Before you apply, please read the Applicant Guide for detailed information on eligibility criteria, support and funding available, and the application process.
The CASPP has a two-stage intake process involving:
- Stage One: Pre-Screening
- Stage Two: Application
Stage One: Pre-Screening
The first step in the application process is to complete the online CASPP Pre-Screening Form, and submitting it by e-mail to Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada at email@example.com.
Stage Two: Application
Proposals that are deemed to meet the priorities of the program will be invited to proceed to stage two of the application process. Applicants submitting a full application will be required to complete the CASPP online application form, which will provided at the time of invitation. Applicants must provide all application and supporting documentation within 45 business days from receipt of the invitation to apply.
If a submitted application is assessed as incomplete, the applicant will be notified and will have 30 business days to provide the missing information before the file is closed. An invitation to submit a full application does not constitute an offer of funding.
Proposals will be assessed based on information provided in both the pre-screening form and on the information provided in the full application package.
Applications will be accepted on a continuous basis from the launch of the program until funding has been fully committed or otherwise announced by the program.
Note: Projects will not normally exceed 5 years in duration.
There are no delays expected.
Online applications should be processed within 100 business days.
