Bilateral and Regional Negotiations and Initiatives

Consistent with Advantage Canada and the Government of Canada's Global Commerce Strategy and in close cooperation with the Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada (DFAIT), AAFC is working to advance Canada's commercial agriculture interests through an active bilateral and regional trade agenda. This agenda complements and reinforces our efforts at the World Trade Organization (WTO) and aims to further expand market access opportunities for Canadian agricultural producers and processors around the world.
