The number of videos posted will vary depending on when new content becomes available. Videos will be posted Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. EST/EDT.

Feedback and Messages
Feedback and interaction is highly encouraged. All video and channel comments, as well as email sent to our YouTube account will be read. Emerging themes or helpful suggestions will be passed to the relevant people in the Department. Although we are not able to reply individually to all feedback, they will be handled on a case-by-case basis and responded to when deemed appropriate.
Policy on comments
We welcome your comments and recognize that disagreements and constructive arguments are acceptable as part of the discussion. However, abusive or insulting comments are not acceptable. We expect the content of posts to be respectful of others.
We disclaim all liability for comments posted to YouTube. We will also moderate all comments and reserve the right to remove ones containing content that is not appropriate, including any of the following:
- racist, hateful, sexist, homophobic, defamatory, or messages that threaten injury or death;
- abusive, aggressive, coarse, vulgar, violent, obscene, or pornographic comments;
- comments that encourage or suggest illegal activity;
- messages that infringe copyright or other intellectual property rights;
- comments not sent by the author and/or posted by anonymous or robot accounts;
- repetitive posts copied and pasted by multiple users; and
- messages that infringe upon an individual's privacy.
Anyone acting contrary to these terms may be blocked from posting to our YouTube channels.
The views of participants commenting on our YouTube channel do not represent our views, nor do we verify or confirm the accuracy of posted comments.
Although the following list is not exhaustive, as a user, by participating in AAFC's YouTube channel, you are granting AAFC permission to use, copy, reproduce, disclose, summarize or translate any comments or content you provide.
If we feel a comment or a question posed to AAFC requires a greater level of detail, we may develop a formal response and distribute the information through other channels such as our Web site.

AAFC respects the Official Languages Act and is committed to ensuring that information products are available in both French and English, of equal quality where required under the Official Languages Act. Videos will be posted simultaneously in both official languages.
Through the very nature of the social media forum, content may vary between the English and French YouTube accounts, particularly where messages and comments are concerned. Any comments that originate from AAFC will be made available in both official languages. As well, comments, video responses, and questions received in one official language on one account could be summarized and translated in the other official language and provided to the other account page.
By participating in AAFC's YouTube channel, users are consenting to the possibility that their comments could be summarized and translated by AAFC.
Users should be aware that some links posted on the AAFC YouTube channel may direct users to sites of organization or other entities that are not subject to the Official Languages Act and that those sources are only available in the language in which they are written.

As YouTube is a publicly available website, AAFC considers anything you write or post on the site accessible to the public. We are not responsible for personal information posted by participants.
To protect your own privacy and the privacy of others, AAFC recommends that you are very careful about what you post. Avoid posting anything personal about yourself or anyone else. Personal information includes such things as home addresses, telephone numbers, photographs containing images of identifiable individuals, and other elements of personal information as defined in paragraph 3 of the Privacy Act.
AAFC is subject to the Access to Information Act and Privacy Act. Therefore, information you post to our channel may be copied, stored, accessed or disclosed in response to a request under either of these Acts.
Any personal information collected through this process is authorized by the Financial Administration Act, and in accordance with the Communications Policy of the Government of Canada and described in Standard Personal Information Bank PSU 938, Outreach Activities.
