Technology Transfer and Licensing

Generating new ideas and turning them into useful products for Canadians is a priority for Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. We partner with industry to bring new technologies to the market. Companies interested in licensing our technologies can view our current Licensing Opportunities.

We also provide information on terms and conditions relating to Commercialization License Agreements, and the model and template agreements we use to develop, evaluate or transfer new technologies.

Our Office of Intellectual Property and Commercialization is responsible and accountable for all processes and procedures related to identifying, protecting and deploying Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada's intellectual property.
