  • Development of integrated pest management programs for greenhouse pests with the emphasis on non-chemical control measures
  • Influence of greenhouse microclimate/supplemental lighting on pest management strategies
  • Role of bees as vectors of microbial agents for control of pests and diseases
  • Intraguild relationships among predators and parasitoids
  • Development of decision-support systems for integrated crop management of greenhouse vegetable crops
  • Evaluation of chemicals for use in integrated pest management programs, impact on non-target organisms and the registration of chemicals under the Minor Use Program

Current Projects:

  • Development of biological control programs for year round greenhouse vegetable production
