Canadian Agricultural Adaptation Program (2014-2019) — 3. Apply

3. Apply

You can apply at any point during the life of the program, until available funds have been fully allocated. Once all funds have been allocated, we will post a notice on this website.

Please apply early to ensure you have enough time to complete your project. Projects must be completed by March 31, 2019.

Before you apply

  1. Read the Canadian Agricultural Adaptation Program (2014-2019) Applicant Guide for detailed information on eligibility criteria, support, available funding and application process.
  2. Complete the Pre-screening Summary and email it to caap-pcaa@agr.gc.ca.

Application process

You must first complete the Project Screening Summary and send it to Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) for review. AAFC will review your Project Screening Summary to determine if your project is eligible and a fit for funding under the program. After the review, AAFC will contact you to discuss your project and let you know if you should apply to the program. If yes, AAFC will email you a complete application package.

Note: AAFC will decide whether or not to fund the project based only on an assessment of the full application package.
