AgriScience Program – 1. What this program offers
1. What this program offers
The AgriScience Program is a program under the Canadian Agricultural Partnership.
The program aims to accelerate the pace of innovation by providing funding and support for pre-commercial science activities and cutting-edge research that benefits the agriculture and agri-food sector and Canadians.
There are two components:
- AgriScience – Clusters component: Proposals are intended to mobilize industry, government and academia through partnerships, and address priority themes and horizontal issues that are national in scope. Applications are now being accepted under Clusters.
- AgriScience – Projects component: A single project or a smaller set of projects that would be less comprehensive than a Cluster. Applications for Projects will be accepted at a later date.
If approved, support is available in the form of non-repayable contributions and/or collaborative support from Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) research scientists.
The program ends March 31, 2023.
