1. What this service offers

The Green Internships Stream funds internships for post-secondary graduates to undertake environmentally beneficial activities, services or research in the agricultural sector but not restricted to farms. These internships must be a meaningful length and can last up to 12 months. The internships must start by December 1, 2017 but priority may be given to those projects starting earlier in the growing season.

You could receive up to a maximum of $16,000 per intern under the Green Internships Stream. Non-profit entities with five permanent employees or less could be eligible for up to 80% support. Non-profit entities with more than five employees may be considered for up to 80% support on a case-by-case basis.

Applications will be accepted until all funds have been allocated and approved on a first-come, first-serve basis.
