This workshop will include various sessions on topics related to organic and low-input agricultural practices.  Presenters range from scientists to organic producers who will discuss research and experiences on

  • tillage,
  • crop rotation,
  • green manure,
  • cover crops,
  • intercropping,
  • phosphorus cycling;
  • Saskatchewan weed surveys;
  • organic oat breeding and varieties;
  • improving financial performance of organic farming;
  • evolution of organic production in Saskatchewan;
  • SaskOrganics and
  • Prairie Organic Grain Initiative.

The workshop is co-hosted by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada and SaskOrganics.
