AgriStability 2019 Interim Payment Application

To apply for an Interim Payment, you must be a participant in AgriStability for the 2019 program year. See the Interim Guide for further details.

  • The Interim Payment is an advance on your final 2019 AgriStability benefit.
  • If you receive an Interim Payment, you must submit a final 2019 application by the deadline so your final AgriStability benefit can be calculated. If you do not submit the final 2019 application by the deadline, you will be required to repay any benefits you received through the 2019 Interim Payment.
  • Deadline: March 31, 2020

2019 AgriStability interim payment rate increased to 75% for Manitoba cattle producers in rural municipalities affected by drought

If you are a Manitoba cattle producer and your farm is experiencing an income decline in 2019 because of hay and feed shortages brought on by back-to-back years of drought, the AgriStability interim payment feature can help. The interim payment is an advance on your final 2019 AgriStability benefit.

The governments of Canada and Manitoba have agreed to increase the 2019 AgriStability interim payment percentage from 50% to 75% of the estimated final 2019 benefit for Manitoba cattle producers in these rural municipalities:

  • Gilbert Plains
  • Rosedale
  • Armstrong
  • Glenella-Lansdowne
  • St. Laurent
  • Bifrost-Riverton
  • Grahamdale
  • Ste. Rose
  • Coldwell
  • Lakeshore
  • West Interlake
  • Ethelbert
  • McCreary
  • Woodlands
  • Fisher
  • Mossey River
