Participation in AgriStability and AgriInvest for Status Indians

Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) is working to ensure that agricultural programs are more accessible and responsive to the needs of First Nations farmers.

What is AgriStability?

AgriStability provides producers with support when they experience a large margin decline. Producers are compensated when their margin in the program year drops more than 30% below their reference margin - the average margin from previous years.

What is AgriInvest?

AgriInvest accounts help producers protect their margin from small declines. Producers will have the flexibility to use the funds to cover small margin declines or for risk mitigation and other investments.
