Government of Canada Contributes to the Development of the Canadian Food Processing Sector and Encourages Consumers to Eat Canadian
Vancouver, British Columbia, January 24, 2011 - Minister of Veterans Affairs and Minister of State (Agriculture) Jean-Pierre Blackburn will be in Vancouver, British Columbia, on Monday, January 24, to present, in the presence of industry partners, an Industry-Government Action Plan to promote the development of the the food processing sector. While there, he will also announce the launch of a grocery store pilot project intended to encourage consumers to eat Canadian.
